Simpulum and lituus / Legend around large S • C. RIC I 421. VF, black surfaces, smoothed // Marcus Aurelius. As Caesar, AD 139-161. Æ Sestertius (31mm, 21.76 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, AD 151-152. Bare head right / Honos standing facing, head left, holding branch and cornucopia. RIC III 1303 (Pius); Banti 120. Fine, apple green and some dark green patina, possible fill in obverse field, patina flaking around edge. Fine to VF, problems as described. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
