SICILY, Akragas. Circa 495-480/78 BC. AR Didrachm (19mm, 8.57 g, 6h). Eagle standing left / Crab within shallow incuse circle. Jenkins, Gela, Group III; HGC 2, 94; SNG ANS 938 (same obv. die). VF, toned, struck from a worn obverse die, some horn silver on reverse, a few light marks. Lot includes old collection holder from the late 1930s.
