K/A/Λ/O/N ('good' in Greek) downwards in left field; in right field, mint bi-hims ('in Hims' in Kufic); in lower right field, six-pointed star Imperial bust facing, wearing diadem surmounted by cross, paludamentum and cuirass, holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. Large m between E/M/I - C/H/C; above, four-pointed star between circles; in exergue tayyib ('good' in Kufic). DOCAB 67. Struck on a broad flan. Very fine.
