ISLAMIC, Umayyad Caliphate. temp. Mu'awiya I ibn Abi Sufyan, AH 41-60 / AD 661-680. Fals (Bronze, 21 mm, 4.04 g, 7 h), Arab-Byzantine type, Hims. K/A/Λ/O/N ('good' in Greek) downwards in left field; in right field, mint bi-hims ('in Hims' in Kufic) Imperial bust facing, wearing diadem surmounted by cross, paludamentum and cuirass, holding globus cruciger in his right hand.
