ARMENIA, Cilician Armenia. Royal. Levon I, 1198-1219. Tram (Silver, 22 mm, 2.82 g, 2 h). Levon seated facing on throne decorated with lions, holding cross and lis, with left foot resting upon footstool and right foot turned outward. Rev. Crowned lion standing left, patriarchal cross behind. CCA 49 var. (reverse legend). Sharply struck and clear, an exceptional example. Extremely fine.
