CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Ambiani. Circa 60-30 BC. Stater (Electrum, 17 mm, 5.56 g). Large crescent on blank convex surface. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into a fibula-like figure, crescents and pellets around. DT -, cf. 235-242 (blank obverse). LT -, cf. 8704 var. (blank obverse).
