IONIA. Uncertain. 5th century BC. Tetartemorion (Silver, 6 mm, 0.18 g, 1 h). Uncertain design. Rev. Uncertain symbol (monogram of ΘE?) within rectangular incuse. Cf. Naumann 32 (2015), 168 (differing style, attributed to Themistokles). Very rare. Somewhat corroded and with a very tiny hole. Very fine.
While the reverse symbol is reminiscent of the monogram of Themistokles, the style is too blundered to be a regular issue of the famous Athenian.
