CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Mediomatrici. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Stater (Electrum, 16 mm, 6.73 g, 4 h), 'type de Morville'. Male head to right. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to left with devolved horseman above; below, stylized triskeles. DT -, cf. 613-614 (janiform head and differing symbols). LT 8967 var. (janiform head and differing symbol). Very rare. Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
