PERSIA, Alexandrine Empire. Uncertain satraps of Babylon, circa 328-311 BC. Double Shekel (Silver, 24 mm, 16.08 g, 1 h), Babylon. Baal seated left, holding scepter in his right hand and placing his left hand on throne. Rev. Lion walking left; above, Γ. Nicolet-Pierre p. 291, 8.4. SNG Delepierre 3005. Minor flan fault on the obverse and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
