BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 480-430 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 8.04 g, 11 h). OPϘ Tripod with three handles, ornamental volutes in the form of pellets below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws; to right, crane standing to right; border of dots. Rev. Incuse tripod; rayed border. HN Italy 2102. SNG ANS 261-262. Nicely toned. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
