Gordian III, 238-244. As (Copper, 26 mm, 7.88 g, 12 h), Rome, 240. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev. ABVNDANTIA AVG / S - C Abundantia standing front, head to right, emptying cornucopiae held in both hands. Cohen 2. RIC 274b. A splendid turquoise patina and an attractive portrait. Minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
