Gordian III, 238-244. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 25 mm, 10.48 g, 2 h), Rome, 240. IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, seen from behind. Rev. ABVNDANTIA AVG / S - C Abundantia standing front, head to right, emptying cornucopiae held in both hands. Cohen 3. RIC 274c. A beautiful piece with a fine patina. Minor flan faults on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
