Gallienus, 253-268. As (Copper, 29 mm, 6.04 g, 12 h), Viminacium, 253. IMP GALLIENVS P AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. TEMPORVM FELICITAS Felicitas standing front, head to left, holding long caduceus in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left. Cohen -. Gnecchi pl. 154, 19 (same dies) = MIR 810v (1 specimen). RIC -. Sternberg XXIII (1997), 304 corr. (same dies, but tooled and described as a medallion in error). Of the highest rarity, apparently only the third known example. Struck on a very thin flan and with minor corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
