Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.83 g, 9 h), uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?), circa 18-17/16 BC. Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Capricorn to right, holding globe attached to rudder between front hooves and bearing cornucopiae on back. BMC 247. Cohen 21. RIC 126. Nicely toned. Struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
