CELTIC, Central Gaul. Pictones. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Electrum, 20 mm, 6.44 g), 'profil de type armoricain' type. Celticized male head to right, with strings of pearls coming out of the hair. Rev. Victory driving a cart drawn by a centaur to right; below, human hand. DT 3645ff. LT 4395. Numerous small scratches and the obverse struck from a worn die, otherwise, good fine.
