(x) Matilda (Dowager Empress. Countess of Anjou; in England 1139-48), Penny, 1.05g, Cross Moline type, Monmouth (?), William, crowned and draped bust right, holding sceptre in front, rev. wil[elm : d]e : mvm, cross moline, lis in angles (Boon -; N.936; S.1326 for type), small edge crack at 2 o'clock, and surface flaws both sides, otherwise neatly struck with a forceful portrait of Matilda, very fine, extremely rare, possibly unique of this mint .
