[...] : on : pe, cross with pellets in crescents in quarters (St. group IV; S.5005), some hard black deposit on both sides, otherwise very fine, very rare.

The previous Spink catalogue notes 'This coin is a die duplicate of a previously unpublished coin in the Prestwich hoard which gives the moneyer's name, Baldwin, though on this specimen the moneyers name is not visible except for part of the last letter, which looks like an S.'
