British Coins, Victoria, sovereign 1842, young head l., rev. crowned shield of arms within wreath (S.3852), certified and graded by PCGS as MS64, satiny luster, tiny abrasions in the mint frost on obverse consistent with the numerical grade, reverse truly superb, boldly struck with full details on the royal shield, an exceptionally choice example of this rarer early date, with lovely gold colour
