Bare head of Pompey Magnus right; capis behind, lituus before; MAG•PIVS•IMP•ITER around / Neptune standing left, holding aplustre and with foot on prow, between the Catanaean brothers, each carrying a parent on their shoulders; PRÆF above, [CL]AS•ET•ORÆ•[MARIT•EX•S•C] in two lines in exergue. Good Extremely Fine; attractive old tone. A superb portrait of Pompey Magnus.
