Parthian Kingdom. Orodes II. 57-38 B.C. AR tetradrachm (30 mm, 13.66 g, 12 h). Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed bust of Orodes II left, royal wart on brow, wearing torque ending in hippocamp / King seated left, holding Nike and scepter; below throne, pellet. Cf. Sellwood 48.1 (no pellet); cf. Shore 212 (same); Callataÿ 15-23 and 26; Sunrise 377. Well struck, a few hairlines scratches on obverse. Very fine.
