Uncertain. Imperial period. 2nd-3rd centuries A.D. Æ (31 mm, 19.00 g). Uncertain host coin. C/m: bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder and star to right. Cf. Howgego 181. Brown patina. Good fine.

Howgego notes a countermark of Artemis (without star) on coins of Domitian from Laodicea in Syria, but although the undertype here is quite worn, what remains of the portrait suggests it is a coin of either Antoninus Pius or Septimius Severus. Additionally, the fabric of the flan does not seem Laodicean.
