Diademed bust of Rajuvula right / Athena Promachos standing left, brandishing thunderbolt and shield, with monograms to right; Kharoshthi legend around, Chatrapasa Apratihatachakrasa Rujuvulasa (of Satrap Rajuvula of the Invincible Chakra). HGC 12, 733; Senior 151; MACW 2497. Rare and choice. Toned very fine.
An attractive specimen of this rare type. The few specimens sold in auction all have Athena's head off flan - our specimen has a wonderful depiction of the goddess.
