Mahakhatapasa putasa khatapasa So(dasasa) around / Abhisekha of Lakshmi: the goddess standing facing, watered by an elephant on lotus on either side. BMC, p. 190, 136-7. Possibly the first appearance of a coin of Sodasa at auction. Extremely rare. Choice but quite fragile. Very fine.
Sodasa's lead coins are extremely rare. Allan lists only two specimens of this half denomination with Gajalakshmi depicted on the reverse.
