srivatsa symbol above, all within a square beaded border / 3-arched hill with sun right, wavy line (river) below, and Saka Era date in Brahmi numerals 318 at bottom. Fishman 28.27.318. Scarce. Olive-green patina. Very fine.
Rudrasimha III was the last Kshatrapa (Saka) ruler who was defeated by Chandragupta II Vikramaditya when Gujarat was annexed to the Gupta Empire.
