Kujula Kadphises. Ca. A.D. 30-80. Æ tetradrachm (24 mm, 8.07 g). Bust of king right, wearing a diadem and cloak over shoulder, with blundered Greek legend around / Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club in right hand and lion skin over left forearm; Kharoshthi legend around, Kujula Kasasa Kushana yavugasa dhamathidasa (of Kujula Kadphises, Kushan yabgu, steadfast in the law). Mitchiner 2844-51; ANS Kushan 44-56; HGC 12, 309. Scarce and choice for the issue. Brown and green patina with light earthen deposits. Good fine.
