Vasudeva I. Ca. A.D. 191-230 or later. Æ tetradrachm (23 mm, 10.02 g). Crowned king standing left, holding a trident and sacrificing at altar left, with Baktrian legend around / Two-armed Oesho (Shiva) standing facing, holding a diadem and trident, with bull Nandi behind and beaded border around. MK 1000, MACW 3399-3401. Rare and choice specimen with a broad flan. Brown patina. Very fine.
Vasudeva's early copper coins match his early gold issues, with nothing above the fire altar. This type is much rarer than his later issues that carry a second trident above the altar.
