Samanta Deva. Ca. 850-1000. AR jital (18 mm, 3.21 g). Horseman advancing right, with plume above horse's head / Bull seated left with Nagari legend Sri Samanta Deva above. Tye 16. Rare. Toned. Very fine. 

This jital with the horse's plume is hard to find. Tye recorded it only in the British Museum and Ashmolean Museum collections.
