Vanavarman. 9th century. Æ (27 mm, 4.65 g). Large Nagari letter Va / Blank. Rhodes-Bose p. 98. Very Rare and lovely specimen, struck on a broad flan. Earthen-green patina. Very fine. 

Most of the known copper coins of the Mlechcha dynasty have come from specific hoards and are in public institutions. Only a limited number are in private hands and they are rarely available on the open market.
