Prithviraja II. 1167-1169. BI jital (16 mm, 3.22 g). Horseman right, with Devanagari legend (Sri) Pithimva Devah around / Bull seated left, with Devanagari legend (Jenda Raja Sri) Samanta (Deva) around. Deyell 214. Very rare. A sharply struck specimen with nearly complete legends. Choice very fine.
Prithviraj II was the Chauhan ruler of Ajmer and preceded the more famous Prithviraj III. His coins are all very rare. Deyell recorded only five specimens.
