Singhana. 1200-1247. Æ dramma (10 mm, 0.88 g). Ornate lion advancing left with jaws open and paw raised / Nagari legend (Sri Singhana De)vah with arrow below. A pleasing specimen of this scarce ruler, with a powerfully depicted lion. Very fine.
Under Singhana, the Yadava kingdom reached the zenith of its power. His capital was Devagiri, the indomitable fortress in the Deccan.
