Baby Krishna (Balakrishna) dancing, holding a dollop of butter / Persian legend and retrograde date 4121 (1241). KM C-202. A scarce and superb specimen, with a lovely depiction of Balakrishna. Choice extremely fine.
This dancing deity was identied as the Goddess Chamundi by Mitchiner, but it is clearly baby Krishna (Balakrishna) holding butter in one hand. Â Scarce and SUPERB specimen, with a lovely depiction of Balakrishna. $125
