Vikings of York, Siefred (c. 895-920), Penny, 1.15g, is-rt-ve-ie blundered for 'sievert rex', between angles of large cross-crosslet, rev. eb-iai-cec-ivi, small cross pattée, pellet trefoils in angles (Williams II, 221 {same dies}; cf. SCBI (West Country Museum) XXIV, no. 357; N.493; S.980), toned, near very fine.
