Edward VI (1547-53), Half-Sovereign, third coinage, 'Crown Gold', 5.39g, m.m. tun, half-length image of crowned boy king right, holding orb and sword, rev. crowned coat of arms dividing regnal cypher (Schneider 694-95; N.1928; S.2451), a striking crack at 4 o'clock, the high points somewhat rubbed, although hints of tone in legend recesses, a bold good fine.
