James I (1603-25), Rose-Ryal of 30-Shillings, second coinage, 13.63g, m.m. rose, King enthroned facing, holding orb and sceptre (Schneider 6; N.2079; S.2613), struck with worn dies, softness to portrait and scuffing to rim at 4 and 7 o'clock suggestive of previous but highly superficial mounting, the reverse otherwise better, a bold fine, scarce.
