(x) James I (1603-25), Laurel, third coinage, 9.08g, m.m. trefoil, fourth laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, small ties, rev. crowned shield over cross fourchée (cf. Schneider 88; N.2114; S.2638B), some ghosting from reverse generating softness in parts, otherwise a pleasing very fine.
