James I (1603-25), Quarter-Laurel, third coinage, 2.24g, m.m. rose, fourth laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shield over cross fourchée (Schneider 94; N.2118; S.2642), pierced and plugged at 9 o'clock, the obverse double-struck and generally weak, the reverse considerably better, about fine.
