Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, Briot's second milled issue, 14.97g, m.m. anchor and b, King in armour on horseback left, pebbly ground below, rev. crowned oval-garnished shield, dividing cypher (N.2304; S.2858), struck on irregular flan, with adjustment marks to shield otherwise bold detail, a pleasing very fine.
