Charles I (1625-49), Halfcrown, 1644, Exeter, 14.30g, m.m. rose, King on horsedback riding left, horse with twisted tail, sash flying behind, rev. oval garnished shield (N.2568; S.3076), a few faint striking splits and marks to edge, otherwise boldly struck, a pleasing very fine.
