An extremely rare celadon glazed vase of Tsüng shape
Of archaistic square form, moulded in a low relief with angled ribbing at the corners, the vase is set on a stand decorated with circles and four oval shaped legs moulded at the corners. The glaze is pooling slightly at the moulded decoration giving it further definition with a short rounded neck.

Height: 14.5 cm

Style of: Yuan (1279-1368) – possibly older: Southern Song (12th – 13th century) Lung-Ch'van, age determination uncertain
