A greatly important and rare sancai-glazed pottery ewer in the shape of a goose
Seated on its feet, head raised with a plump body and lush flaring tail, hollow on the inside. The head and feather tail in elaborate detail, covered in an iridescent and adherent green, brown and crème glaze.

This is an extremely rare miniature version of larger bird-shaped vases.
