A very rare tea bowl of marbled ware
Wide conical sides are rising from a small foot. This tea bowl features a mixture of white and brown clay with a transparent glaze creating the effect of marble.

Style of: Tang or Song (8th or 13th century), age determination uncertain
The bowls' shape and small foot are characteristic of the Sung dynasty while the clear glaze was typically used in the Tang dynasty
