An extremely attractive and rare glazed pottery figure of a camel.
Standing on a foursquare, the camel's head is raised and its mouth agape. This fine piece of art is covered in a fine glaze of yellow, brown and green. The crème stoneware is showing in some places. The fur, the saddle as well as the animal's head are beautifully handcrafted.

Height: 12cm (very rare in this size)

Style of: Tang (618 – 906) OXFORD Authentification states 'last date of firing less than 300 years ago' (Sample No C118g86)
