An exceptionally fine carved crème green jade twin vases and covers
Of baluster form, standing on short feet, with long necks, with slightly everted rims, attached to each other mid-belly. With two matching covers of slightly domed shape with tall-langed knobs. Decorated with incised connecting lines and grain-like motifs. Calcified to a creamy-green.
Height: 7cm
Style of: Han (206 BC – 220 AD), age determination uncertain
The grain-like motif is characteristic of the Han dynasty.
