A very important and fine bronze ritual food vessel "Gui"
The slightly S-curved body is supported by a high cylinder foot pierced with two apertures on either side, encircled below the exerted rim with a band of scrolling curls characteristic of the Shang period, on the base a cross with three lines and an inscription, which reads "Father, Sons and Grandsons".

Height: 12.5cm, Diameter: 18cm

Style of: Shang (15th – 13th century BC), age determination uncertain

This Gui passed from father to son.
