An extremely fine Archaic bronze ritual wine vessel "Jue"
The Deep U-shaped body supported by three tall flared legs to an open mouth set to one side with a flat pointed rim and to the other with a channelled spout flanked by a pair of posts crowned with rounded knobs, the body decorated with a band of Taotie masks divided into panels by 4 vertical ridges and a rimmed loop handle, with a fine green patina.

Height: 16cm

Style of: Late Shang / Early Zhou (11th – 10th century BC) Antiques Analytics states 'produced in the 20th century' (Sample AA 18-08065)
