A magnificent ritual bronze axe blade "Ko"
The flat triangular blade with a well cast ornamental decoration of a Taotie mask in triangular shape, pieced with a central circular aperture and two small rectangular apertures to either side of the hilt, with a rounded tip, the flat rectangular hilt with a central circular aperture, cast with another Taotie mask at the end and pictogram of a ritual vessel "Ding", flanked by two blades. Fine green patina.
