An exceptionally lovely and important tripod ritual vessel
Of cylinder shape, supported by three feet in the shape of bears, a pair of Taotie masks on either side holding ring handles, on a central band with ancient Chinese characters indicating ritual and King, the body decorated with beautiful inlaid silver curling motifs, with a band of triangles on top and bottom and on the rim of the cover, inlaid with silver, in the shape of human figures, the cover surmounted by three bird figures raising from rings.
