(x) East African Currency Board, an archival printers obverse and reverse composite essay on card for a 10000 shillings or 500 pounds (2), Mombasa, 15 December 1921, black, blue and turquoise, George V at top right, value at top left and each corner, reverse blue, lion at centre flanked by values, with values at each corner(Pick 19 for type, TBB B215 for type), in PCGS Currency holders 62 NEW and 63 CHOICE NEW, Rust Spots, ink annotations "duplicate" and showing the date "22-8-25", a remarkable essay of an iconic note, very attractive and unique, a lovely example of the designers art (2).
