Iran, Bank Melli Iran, uniface obverse and reverse plate colour die proofs for 10 rials, series of 1948-1951, both sides have 'Plate colour Violet No. 2' and '9.2.48.', in typed text on top border, otherwise the obverse shows Shah Palavi in army uniform at right and the reverse shows a winged Saurian, signed by Mohammad Ali Bamdad and Abdol Hossein Ebtehaj,(Pick 47pr, TBB B142ap), both in PCGS holders, front proof 45 extremely fine, reverse proof 53 about new, both with minor stains, Very rare (1 pair).
