Iran, Bank Melli Iran, uniface obverse and reverse plate colour die proofs for 1000 rials, series of 1948-1951, both sides have 'Plate colour Purple 5' and '29.9.47.', in typed text on top and bottom border, otherwise the obverse shows Shah Palavi in army uniform at right and the reverse shows Mount Damavand and the Jajrood River, signed by Mohammad Ali Bamdad and Abdol Hossein Ebtehaj,(Pick 53pr, TBB B148ap), in PCGS Currency holders 40 Extremely Fine (Stains), 45 Extremely Fine (Minor Stains) respectively, very rare (1 pair).
